To participate on auction a deposit is required together with your FICA documents.

  • R5,000 – Absa Auctions
  • R7,000 – Other Bank Repo auctions
  • R20,000 – For Non-SA Citizens



Please fill in the two attached forms, send it back with the below relevant documents in order to obtain a bidding number. 


  • ID and or Passport
  • Proof of payment (no screen shots)

    PRIVATE INDIVIDUALS     

    1. Identification Document (green bar-coded ID Book OR Smart Card ID) for RSA citizens. 
    2. Passport AND South African Traffic Register for non-RSA citizens/residents 
    3. Proof of Residential Address ** 


    COMPANIES AND CLOSE CORPORATIONS 

    1. Proof of Business Address ** 
    2. Proof of Residential Address of all directors / members ** 
    3. Resolution letter confirming the registered representative/s can purchase on behalf of the company 
    4. SARS letter with VAT number (Notice of registration) 
    5. All directors/members lD Book OR Smart Card ID OR Passport 
    6. Proxy Details / BRN Certificate / Dealer-stocking Certificate / Traffic Register Certificate (from the Motor Vehicle Licensing office) 
    7. Proxy letter and the Representative's lD Book OR Smart Card ID OR Passport 
    8. Business Certificate of Incorporation (CM / CK documents) 
    9. CIPRO print out (to confirm the identity of all members or directors) NOT OLDER THAN 1 (ONE) YEAR (Please note : self-printed copies from Windeed, Deed Search, etc., may not be used) 
    10. Letter from the entity’s accountant/auditor/company secretary/director/other authorized person confirming the names of those holding 25% voting rights at general meetings. 
    FICA documents as above are required for these entities or individuals. 


    SOLE PROPRIETORS 

    1. Identification Document (green bar-coded ID Book OR Smart Card ID) for RSA citizens. 
    2. Passport AND South African Traffic Register for non-RSA citizens/residents 
    3. Proof of Business Address ** 
    4. Proof of Residential Address of proprietor ** 
    5. Letter from external accountant/auditor confirming the existence of the business as a sole proprietor 
    6. If VAT registered, SARS letter with VAT number / Registration Certificate 


    TRUSTS 

    1. Identification Document (green bar-coded ID Book OR Smart Card ID) for RSA citizens OR Passport of all Trustees. 
    2. Trust Deed 
    3. Letter of authority issued by the master of the high court 
    4. Authorization letter to purchase on behalf of the trust 
    5. Tax clearance certificate (If VAT Registered) 
    6. Proof of Residential Address of all Trustees ** 
    7. Proof of Business Address for the Trust ** 
    If you have an existing permanent number with us, please advise what the number is.
